quotes Daddy, it's the wrong colour. I can't believe this, it's so unfair.

quotes Testing it with the forces which are actually going to be applied to it? Sounds ridiculous to me.

quotes It looks good for a 29er, which is like saying "She's hot for a girl with downs syndrome."

quotes Yeah, I think I know what my next crank set will be. This, with a 28 tooth and my 9-32 setup in back. I have a 27 tooth middleburn duo right now so that sounds perfect.

quotes I love the look of that bike, it is awesome. But I can see myself catching my gentleman's vegetables in that perfectly sized gap during a crash....unpleasant.

quotes Look at the freaking size of those hits!?! That's a bronze event?

quotes Noskidmarks, Just do a quick image search for Alfine 8 speed internals and I think the answer to your question of why there isn't a narrower version being made speculatively so a small number of niche manufacturers can maybe integrate it into frames will become abundantly clear. They can barely fit all those finely machined gears into 135mm spacing, never mind trying to make it 25% narrower.

quotes People are always pressing on pinkbike for internal hubs and gearboxes and yet they never sell when they come out. Companies sell what people buy, what people buy is deraileur gear systems which are simple, light, efficient and reliable.
